Service of process: The procedure employed to give legal notice to a person (such as a defendant) of a court or administrative body's exercise of its jurisdiction over that person so as to enable that person to respond to the proceeding before the court.
We offer flat rates and volume discounts for the service of Subpoenas, Statements of Claim, Complaints, and other legal documents including letters and correspondence.
Unlike process service companies, as Licensed Private Detectives we are empowered by law not only to serve the process but also to conduct thorough investigations when necessary to locate and serve subjects not found at the provided address. As a result, we can make timely service and reduce the need to reschedule hearings and reinstate Complaints.
Our process servers are Investigators who are aware of the techniques used by individuals attempting to elude service and are experienced in countering those efforts, ultimately making proper service.
We make service attempts at varying times of the day, evening and on weekends. Our goal is to get the document served, not to just go through the motions. We even offer Urgent same day service.
All process is served by Licensed Private Detectives, not couriers or messengers. Our Affidavits of Service reflect this and the authenticity of our Affidavits has never been questioned. In addition, we will supply you with the name and description of the person served as well as their relationship to the subject. Personal service exclusively to the person named on the document is also available.
In addition to serving subpoenas we will issue them in Philadelphia, Delaware, Montgomery and Chester County, PA. We also offer Court filing services in these counties.
